1. Surface Preparation
- Clear the Area: Sweep or blow off all loose dirt, dust, and debris. Remove all surface contaminant bond breakers.
- Protect Surroundings: While Eco-Etch Pro is non-toxic and plant-safe, it is always a best practice to lightly pre-wet surrounding grass or vegetation with water before starting.
- Note: This product is not a paint stripper or heavy degreaser. If your concrete has existing paint, sealers, or heavy oil stains, those must be removed with a dedicated stripper or degreaser first so the etcher can actually reach the bare concrete.
2. Recommended Tools
- Standard plastic garden pump sprayer.
- Stiff-bristle push broom or nylon scrub brush.
- Pressure washer (preferred) or a standard garden hose with a high-pressure nozzle.
3. Application & Agitation
- Apply: Using your pump sprayer, apply Eco-Etch Pro evenly over a dry and bare concrete or masonry surface. Work in manageable sections (e.g., 10x10 foot areas) so the product does not dry out.
