SoyCrete Concrete Stain and Sealer is an advanced water-based polyurethane decorative concrete stain made with bio-based ingredients that replaces hazardous petrochemicals. The best concrete stain to color and seal properly prepared concrete, precast concrete, fiber cement siding, and masonry surfaces in one easy step. Concrete staining is a popular flooring alternative and is excellent for adding color protection to fiber cement cladding, block walls, brick pavers, cement tiles and more.
Our advanced bio-based polyurethane and bio-emulsion technology penetrates the surface with natural plant oil derivatives that carry the pigment as deep as possible into the open pores, then forms a tenacious bond with an ultra durable water tight seal. For optimum color and sealing results, apply either two coats of the Stain & Sealer, or one coat of the Stain & Sealer and then topcoat with either EcoPoly Sealer & Finish or EcoTuff Clearcoat to increase the sheen and/or surface barrier level.
Why choose our Infrared Reflective (IR) pigment colors?
The primary purpose of IR pigment dispersions is to maximize the solar reflectivity of a coated surface and to minimize heat and its negative effects on the substrate, thus keeping objects cooler than they would be with standard pigments.
Objects reflect or absorb solar energy from either ultraviolet (UV), visible or infrared (IR) light. The challenge is to reflect infrared and to absorb and reflect in the visible spectrum to produce the needed color. The superior chemistry of IR pigments will also impart increased resistance to chemicals, weathering and fading. The ideal color choice around pools, coastal environments, or wherever color fading and heat is a problem.
