Deco-Poz Concrete Resurfacing Kit

Deco-Poz Concrete Resurfacing Kit is available in two sizes. The standard size includes (1) 40lb Gray or White Cement Mix and (1) 1 Gallon RTU Bonding Polymer. It is a high performance concrete resurfacer made with high purity crystalline silica free recycled pozzolan for added strength, sulfate resistance, and reduction of portland cement demand. Transform existing substrates with a new crack resistant concrete canvas. Apply over concrete, wood, laminates, metal, tiles, and existing coatings. Is ready to stain, polish, or seal. You may also add any integral concrete color pigments to change the color if desired. It is recommended to seal after application. The 40lb cement is mixed with our 1 gallon Deco-Poz Bonding Polymer. For best results, pour the Deco-Poz Concrete Bonding Polymer into a large mixing bucket. Then add the cement mix slowly while mixing with a power mixer used for mortar or a Jiffy type mixing blade until a smooth consistency is achieved. Add water if necessary and only to the level on the instructions to increase flow and viscosity as determined by the application type, thickness, and trowel method. A typical consistency should be like pancake batter or thick paint coating. The key to success is mixing until you reach a workable viscosity within the added water limits. If you have excess cement, do not force it into the mixture. It is recommended to apply our concrete microtopping in two (2) thin coats@ 1/32" each for a total of 1/16". This will yield approx­imately 150-200 sq.ft. per 40 lb kit. Thicker applications up to 1/8" are typical if concrete polishing with fine glass such a terrazzo type surface designs are desired. This added thickness allows better encapsulation of glass and supports the necessary polishing stages. Otherwise, thicker is not better and does not increase strength or durability. You may apply Deco-Poz from a zero edge to no more than 1/4" in multiple coats. Its a fast dry cement microtopping that will dry to the touch within 2 to 4 hours. Intended uses include resurfacing old worn concrete that are unstainable or to simply make it look new again. It gives old or previously painted concrete a new concrete canvas for restaining.
