    Great product

Used it on some seriously beat up slate floors in a small high traffic kitchen. No smells, easy to apply and clean up and looks amazing.

    Sample on pine board

Posted by Tamara Estes on Apr 10th 2021

I just used this on pine board, so I cannot speak to durability on wood yet. I like the smell, certainly easy to work with when it cleans with water and soap. I sanded the board lightly with 200 grit then applied the TimberSoy Wood Stain samples in just one coat. Then applied two coats of the EcoTuff using a foam brush. I feel that I am not putting it on thick enough, but was worried about streaking. Because I ultimately will be using this on an interior door and furniture I feel I would need to do a sanding between coats to get a fine smooth finish (the wood feels furry after it has all dried). I compared this with the EcoPoly Polyurethane Sealer and Finish gloss coating and am going to go with the EcoTuff because of the better durability. I used this product as the coating on my concrete floor in my house one year ago and it has exceeded my expectations with durability.
