Why choose our Infrared Reflective (IR) pigment colors?
The primary purpose of IR pigment dispersions is to maximize the solar reflectivity of a coated surface and to minimize heat and its negative effects on the substrate, thus keeping objects cooler than they would be with standard pigments.
Objects reflect or absorb solar energy from either ultraviolet (UV), visible or infrared (IR) light. The challenge is to reflect infrared and to absorb and reflect in the visible spectrum to produce the needed color. The enhanced chemistry of IR pigments will also impart increased chemical and weathering resistance which is especially important around pools or coastal areas.

Most impressed with the flexibility of custom color formulating. Absolutely a snap to manage and maintain consistency! The 2oz samples are a perfect amount for many reasons; measuring, sampling costs, practical-lightweight for transporting. I'm a firm believer in maintaining manufacturer systems for any residential and commercial project. It's important for sustainability, and ease of client communication.

Love it!
I love this concrete stain! I have used it many times to stain concrete floors. My floors turn out beautiful, they have lasted, with proper care, AND, best of all....it's safe and not toxic!! It's absolutely worth the extra money you might pay. ( I have not price compared, so maybe it's not. Just assuming, because safer products usually cost more AND are totally worth it!) I love not having to wear mask and worry about ventilation when using ecoprocote products!!

It's difficult to chose a color from a computer screen. The samples were more than sufficient to cover several areas to test the porosity of the concrete and to compare several colors to each other.
