Why choose our Infrared Reflective (IR) pigment colors?
The primary purpose of IR pigment dispersions is to maximize the solar reflectivity of a coated surface and to minimize heat and its negative effects on the substrate, thus keeping objects cooler than they would be with standard pigments.
Objects reflect or absorb solar energy from either ultraviolet (UV), visible or infrared (IR) light. The challenge is to reflect infrared and to absorb and reflect in the visible spectrum to produce the needed color. The enhanced chemistry of IR pigments will also impart increased chemical and weathering resistance which is especially important around pools or coastal areas.

My wife and I were trying to find a gray we both liked for the floor of our new addition. We have in-floor heat and wanted a simple finish for our concrete that would be comfortable and natural looking. After looking at three different color samples and also trying a test that was just sealed with your matte sealer, we preferred the existing color of the concrete to all the other colors. I have no complaints about the stains, and I really appreciate being able to get small samples. SoyCrete Concrete Stain Sample 2 oz
We have used SoyCrete stain to renew the color on a dyed concrete patio. After applying the red-clay stain, we mixed three samples of dark grey into the base color at a 4red/1grey ratio. Then we put the mix into plastic bottles with a tip like those used for hair dye. This allowed us to squeeze the dark color into "grout" lines and indentations to give a natural stone appearance. Then their sealer was applied. This lasts about 8 years, even with Michigan sun, heavy rain and snow. We like the safety and convenience of SoyCrete products. No odor and easy to mix for color variations.

We initially ordered 3 different color samples as well as a sealer. Simple process. We received a call the following day informing us that our package was sent out. Fast delivery. A couple days later we ordered an additional color, again quick delivery despite being on the other side of the country. We haven't tested our samples yet due to delays in our project, however we have no doubt that the products will be of excellent quality. In the future, we will definitely order again from this company again.
