Want to learn more about the benefits of Infrared Reflective (IR) cool color pigments for your exterior project?

Buy our concrete stain samples if you would like to see the actual concrete stain colors on your project substrate before embarking on the full concrete stain installation. Our two ounce concrete stain samples are also ideal for small craft projects used on virtually any porous cementitious substrate or great for small area touch-up work. One jar of our eco friendly concrete stain will cover approximately 6 square feet.

Each concrete slab is unique. The concrete mixture, concrete color, texture and imperfections will create one of a kind naturally marbled appearance.

Select the best eco friendly concrete stain engineered for high performance by replacing toxic ingredients with alternatives based on advanced sustainable chemistry. Achieves more green building certification attributes than any competitive stain on the market. Used for: commercial floors, warehouse floors, residential floors, patios, driveways, walkways, tilt-up precast concrete walls, block walls, and more.

Why choose our Infrared Reflective (IR) pigment colors?

The primary purpose of IR pigment dispersions is to maximize the solar reflectivity of a coated surface and to minimize heat and its negative effects on the substrate, thus keeping objects cooler than they would be with standard pigments.

Objects reflect or absorb solar energy from either ultraviolet (UV), visible or infrared (IR) light. The challenge is to reflect infrared and to absorb and reflect in the visible spectrum to produce the needed color. The enhanced chemistry of IR pigments will also impart increased chemical and weathering resistance which is especially important around pools or coastal areas.

Several years ago we finished our sun room concrete floors in soycrete stain. They came out beautiful and it was so easy. Everyone that visits loves the color and design. No bad smell and easy clean up.

I used the SoyCrete concrete stain to repaint a stamped detail in my concrete patio. The stain went on easily and the job looks great.

Accurate color and easy to use

Posted by Eric D. on Oct 8th 2017

I used the Mossy Green concrete stain on a raised garden bed project I was working on and it turned out great. The color doesn't look like that on the website at first but after it sets and cures it that color representation on the website provides an accurate example. Easy clean-up since it's water-based too! I do wish they would sell the concrete stains in quart sizes however as a gallon was way too big for what I needed. They offer their wood stains in quart sizes but the website doesn't show the concrete stains available in quart sizes.

Went on easily. It turned my concrete floor into a dark charcoal gray instead of a black. From the Seller: Thank you very much for your purchase and review. Color does vary depending on the concrete mixture, density, and application method. It is very easy to darken colors by requesting a double loading of pigment or if you have profiled (etched) the concrete to increase porosity, you may apply a second coat. If the installation has been sealed and you still want to increase the black color, you may apply our EcoFlorZ Color Sealer to enhance existing colors. Please contact us if you require any additional advice.

    Excellent potential

Colors brighter than I anticipated but should mix up fine. I'm going for a tromp l'oiell effect on my cement slab porch. Won't get to it now 'til Spring. Thank you.

    soycrete stain

Covers area well even as a semi transparent stain and some dilution. Looks great. I appreciate the eco-friendly aspect...as I was applying the product ants and bees were attracted to it rather than repelled. Grateful it exists. Seller Comment: We appreciate your time for writing us with a favorable outcome of your project. In the 12 years we have been making SoyCrete, I don't think we've ever heard of ants and bees being attracted especially with a natural preservative in the product. I hope that it is a coincidence or maybe a just temporary attraction to a new mild odor that they can sense. Once the product is fully cured, any odor they can sense will be gone. If we can be of any further assistance, don't hesitate to contact us.
